We are currently recruiting for a Legal Executive to join Hogan Lovells' Equity Capital Markets team in Singapore. This will be a 24-months Fixed-term contractual role, with the possibility of extension.


Our Equity Capital Markets is part of our Corporate & Finance (C&F) Team. Our C&F team provides end-to-end transactional solutions to our clients globally, across a wide range of capital strategies and funding structures.

The Equity Capital Markets team regularly advises on significant equity capital markets transactions, including listings on multiple exchanges and worldwide offerings. We assist companies in coming to market, whether by way of institutional or public offering, demerger, demutualization, or privatization. We advise listed companies on secondary fundraisings, capitalization issues, and debt-for-equity arrangements.


SCOPE OF THE WORK

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

· Review and proofread legal documents

· Conduct legal research and analysis

· Help to draft and review advise and other documentation/correspondence relevant to client matters

· Provide support on Business Development proposals

· Provide support to other lawyers in the Equity Capital Markets


REQUIREMENTS

· Need to have 2+ Post-Qualified Experience (PQE)

· At least 2 years of prior experience working in Indian capital markets transactions

· Strong English proficiency – both verbal and written (proficiency in Hindi is an advantage) as the work will require a lot of drafting

· Enjoy working as part of a team and have strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Have an aptitude for analysis and problem solving

· Extremely organised - ability to prioritise and manage workload

Able to work in different time zones. Our Equity Capital Markets work primarily in the India Standard Time (IST). Hence, your work hours will differ. For e.g., you will work from 10AM-7PM/11AM-8PM
