About theteam

The team is responsible for developing allof TTS South East Asia businesses - which will involve excitingprojects covering user growth, homepage, discovery channel. You'llbe tasked with creating a Global e-Commerce Shopping Platform,collaborating closely with engineers around the globe.

Responsibilities:

1.Develop efficient, highly scalable, and secured services tobuild/integrate e-Commerce solutions for TikTokShop.

2. Collaborate with Product Managers,Designers, and other disciplines to explore the next generation ofshopping experiences on TikTok.

3. Beresponsible for building an intuitive and reliable shoppingexperience, including browsing product details, check-out,shopping, return, refund etc.

4. Be responsiblefor TikTok's Shop Tab, building platforms and tools for merchants,clients, and businesses to manage campaigns, deliver the bestresults, and receive actionable insights.

5.Research, design, and develop computer and network software orspecialised utility programs.

6. Analyse userneeds and develop software solutions, applying principles andtechniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematicalanalysis.

7. Update software, enhances existingsoftware capabilities, and develops and direct software testing andvalidationprocedures.

Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (ComputerStudies) or related discipline.

2. Candidatesshould have at least 5 years of experience in developing highlyscalable backend services and systems using at least one of thefollowing programming languages: Java, Golang, orPython.

3. Work experience with E-CommerceProducts and/or a vertical industry (including Monetization,Retail, Travel, Financial Service, etc).

4.Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, proficient inat least one coding language, including but not limited to Go,Java, C++.

5. Great to have hybridcross-platform development experience.

6. Goodunderstanding of business, technical abstraction and system moduledesign.

7. Have large-scale website architectureexperience.
