POLYTRON.AI, a subsidiary of VIZZIO, leads the way in AI-powered LIVE 3D camera technology with a patented special-purpose embedded chip that generates "360 3D Video," creating real-time virtual spaces. This is accomplished by merging multiple video feeds from Polytron.AI cameras using an advanced fusion technique, resulting in a unified 3D scene reconstruction. Our cutting-edge POLYTRON LIVE 3D cameras are designed to revolutionize real-time 3D technology, enabling live virtual tours and driving significant advancements across various industries. By leveraging advanced AI and 3D mapping and video fusion techniques, our solutions create immersive, interactive virtual environments in real time, transforming industries such as real estate, tourism, education, and entertainment. Our goal is to push the boundaries of real-time 3D visualization, offering innovative tools that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for talented 3D modelers to join our ever growing team. As a 3D modeller, you will be responsible for creating virtual worlds and characters. You will be breathing life into sketches and concept art. You will be working in a team with our talented artists, engineers and programmers. You must be well versed with industry-standard 3D modelling programs and tools. Good spatial skills and a well-honed sense of colour and design will help you succeed in this job.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage digital assets.
  • Interpret concept art and sketches to create environments and props.
  • Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions and other technical constraints.
  • Prototype and iterate on models and characters based on feedback from team members.
  • Create textures and UV maps.
  • Optimize, refine and correct model geometry.
  • Work with artists and programmers to execute projects on time.
  • Keep abreast with the latest developments in 3D design, capture and modelling tools and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Expert level knowledge of 3D design and modeling tools such as Blender, 3DS Max, Substance Painter, Sketchup, ZBrush etc.
  • An eye for detail and good visualization skills.
  • Ability to take feedback and make changes as required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D design and modeling.
  • Technical diploma in 3D modelling or a degree in fine arts.
  • Some scripting experience (e.g. Python) will be an added bonus.
  • Some experience in procedural modelling (e.g. Houdini) will be an added bonus
