Job Profile

Responsible for managing a project to achieve specified objectives. Involves the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality. Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.

Job Description

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking project activities. Coordinate between different teams (SAS, Java, MQ, Kafka, DBA, ETL, Data, Infrastructure). Ensure smooth execution of various backend processes.
  • Assist in managing projects, ensuring they are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with vendors, business users, and technical teams to resolve issues..
  • Monitor project progress and contribute to the identification and resolution of issues and risks.
  • Participate in resource allocation and budget monitoring.
  • Prepare and support the presentation of project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous learning and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist project managers in coordinating project activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams as needed.
  • Technical Coordination & Oversight: Work with various development teams handling Java, J2EE ETL jobs, SAS applications, DBA. Oversee ETL processes and data flow into Oracle Data Lake using OGG & OGGBD. Ensure real-time data exchange using Kafka, MQ, and OGG DB.
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot system failures related to SAS, Java, and Oracle backend.
  • Maintain project documentation, including design specs, test plans, and progress reports. Ensure all developments comply with IT security and compliance guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
  • Proven experience in project and program management
  • Proficiencies in project management methodologies, tools, and software
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are a plus
