Roles & Responsibilities

Summary:

The IVVQ Engineer will perform integration, verification, validation, and qualification activities for systems across various business domains and projects with diverse timelines. This role spans the entire project lifecycle, from design to implementation and maintenance, with a focus on transportation projects requiring collaboration with multiple international entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the IVVQ Manager to ensure all requirements are testable, maintain full V&V traceability, and develop verification test scenarios.
  • Prepare test configurations, implement verification procedures, and compile results, including managing deviations and recording verification outcomes.
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests of telecom subsystems, liaise with customers, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage telecom system IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices.
  • Configure software and hardware systems and deploy integration solutions, including cloud-based technology.
  • Troubleshoot and create tools to resolve incidents when required.
  • Deploy on-premises data center solutions, including hardware, OS, and associated services.
  • Implement network solutions, including firewalls and cyber solutions
  • Perform IVVQ testing of IT infrastructure, network, software, and cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in manual/automated testing, configuration, and IT infrastructure management.
  • Experience designing and developing integration solutions using APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architecture is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and VMware ESX technologies.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in networking protocols, virtualization, and IT automation tools like Ansible.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl is preferred.
  • Experience with testing methodologies, tools like JIRA and SVN, and railway communication systems is an advantage.

Desirable Experience:

  • IT infrastructure design and implementation, including data center and disaster recovery systems.
  • Hands-on experience with high-availability systems, firewalls, virtualization, storage systems, and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Knowledge of railway communication systems and similar LTA MRT projects.
  • Experience working within a systems engineering lifecycle or in an industrial IT environment.
