TheRole

We are looking for an AssistantManager who will play a key role in leading and managing theOutreach and Admissions functions of the College. Stationed in theDean's Office of CoE, you will develop, plan and lead theimplementation of outreach and admissions strategies and activitiesto achieve the College's and Schools' outreach and studentrecruitment objectives and targets.

Keyresponsibilities include (but not limitedto):
  • Lead, manage andexecute university, college and school level outreach events andactivities.
  • Analyse the effectiveness ofoutreach events and activities to refine outreachstrategies.
  • Interface between College andEngineering Schools to harmonise the outreach and admissionsstrategies, implementation plans and efforts, and supportengineering schools in their outreachactivities.
  • Participate in outreach events andactivities locally and overseas.
  • Manage andadminister the full spectrum of admissions and scholarshipprocesses to meet admissions and scholarship objectives andtargets.
  • Generate and analyse applications,admissions and scholarships data for development and implementationof data-driven outreach and admissionsstrategies.
  • Handle admissions, scholarships,financial aid and programme related enquiries from prospectivestudents.
  • Manage FAQ database of College andSchools.
  • Manage, coordinate with variousstakeholders on requests for information and collate theinformation for submission.
  • Guide, mentor andsupervise team members in their work.
  • Lead,manage and support ad-hoc projects and tasks as necessary or asassigned bysupervisor.


Requirements:
  • Degree inBusiness/Marketing from a recogniseduniversity.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant workingexperience.
  • Knowledge of the higher educationmarket in Singapore and Asia-Pacific region isadvantageous.
  • Excellent planning andorganisational skills, combined with the ability to effectively setpriorities and goals, and manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal andcommunication skills to effectively lead and manage a team and workwith stakeholders of various levels.
  • Excellentproject and event managementskills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking andproblem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge ofMicrosoft Office skills.
  • Meticulous andresourceful with a passion to achieve.
  • Able towork independently as well as in a team to achievegoals.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in afast-pacedenvironment.
