Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of fire alarm and fire protection projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Conduct detailed site surveys, plan routes, and design layouts for fire safety systems.
  • Lead the installation of conduits, cables, devices, sprinkler systems, and other fire protection equipment.
  • Manage and inspire site teams (workers, team leaders, and supervisors) to achieve project goals and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors to ensure BOQs are accurate and aligned with site measurements.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain smooth project execution.
  • Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize project efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with SCDF regulations, local codes, and all relevant safety standards.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures where needed.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, milestones, and resource utilization for stakeholders.
  • Act as the SME, providing leadership and technical guidance on-site.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields).
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing fire alarms or fire protection projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire protection systems, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams effectively.
  • Experience in system design, route planning, and material selection for fire protection systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and reading technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and under tight deadlines.
  • A passion for learning, improving, and excelling in engineering/construction.
  • A valid Class 2B/Class 3 license (preferred).
