Roles & Responsibilities

Working Days / Hours: Mon to Fri: 9am – 5pm; Sat: 9am-1pm

Location: Central

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures and ensuring their safety during the procedure
  • Perform echocardiogram investigations such as exercise stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
  • Coordinate and carry out other cardiac investigations and procedures including ECGs, treadmill ECG stress tests, ambulatory blood pressure tests and Holter monitoring
  • Assist cardiologists during consultations
  • Ensure regular maintenance of diagnostic equipment including weekly & monthly quality assurance tests
  • Maintain inventory of consumables
  • Perform occasional after-hours investigations

Requirements

  • A Diploma or Degree in Biomedical / Biotechnology Science
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, with 1 year of experience conducting stress echocardiogram investigations
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
