Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

1. Oversee and manage the company's IP network services, including internet lines, cloud hosting

platforms, managed services, and Data Center services.

2. Monitor and maintain the backend network infrastructure to ensure uptime and reliability.

3. Lead the design, expand and continuous improvement of existing and new infrastructures.

4. Manage and assign IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, ensuring compliance with best practices.

5. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated network problems, ensuring timely resolution.

6. Work closely with network vendors and service providers to troubleshoot network-related issues and

manage service tickets

7. Assist the Network Manager in creating and maintaining technical documentation.

8. Collaborate with other teams to share knowledge and support their service requirements.

9. Support the Network Manager in implementing and executing network policies to ensure alignment with

organizational goals.

10. Be available for after-office-hours escalations and support when required

Job Requirements:

1. Strong knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting and their application in real-world networking scenarios.

2. Proficiency in IP network routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP in WAN and ISP core environments.

3. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

4. Good understanding of TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, and network security principles.

5. Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting routers and switches from vendors

like Cisco, Huawei, and Juniper.

6. Strong knowledge of security solutions, including NG-Firewall, Anti-DDoS and their deployment.

7. Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a passion for learning new technologies.

8. Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with colleagues

and customers.

9. Possess IP network related certification like CCNP or JNCIP.

10. Basic knowledge of Linux system.

11. Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese to support customers when required. (preferred)

12. Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., Python, Ansible) for network management.
