Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review electrical engineering drawings and design electrical systems
  • Create electrical installation details, single-line diagrams, panel layouts, electrical & signal cable routing and BQ material lists.
  • Conduct site survey and retrieve information to complete drawing, layout and design including tagging database, point of connection, technical specifications etc.
  • Develop & review the Process Instrumentation and Control documentation such as P&ID, logic diagrams, control narratives, IO signal list, cable list, control panels.
  • Perform SCADA integration, PLC programming & paging update.
  • Support site installation, site acceptance test and function test during Test & Commissioning (T&C) phase.
  • Coordinate and review with sub-contractor, third party vendor, system owner.
  • Ensure Quality & Health Safety standard and regulatory compliance
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Control Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of Process Control & Automation (PLC) applications.
  • Proficient in AUTOCAD & Microsoft Excel
  • Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in Microelectronics, Semiconductor or related Cleanroom Factory Automation environment will be preferred.
  • Proactive and self-motivated team player with positive work attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and takes ownership of assigned responsibilities
