Job Description

We help our clients stay ahead of changes that impact their businesses, navigating complexity and risk. We deliver deep tax technical, people and legal expertise, while providing the critical context to make informed and compliant decisions. With clients ranging from multinational organisations and public sector bodies to entrepreneurs and family businesses, the work we do is diverse.


As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:


● Proactively lead and manage a portfolio of clients and build relationship with potential clients

● Be actively involved in business development activities to identify new opportunities and targets

● Serve as primary point of contact for the clients and manage client expectations in terms of processes, timelines and providing effective solutions to any difficulties or challenges during times of change and uncertainty

● Lead, train and coach team members to consistently deliver optimal performance to meet the business needs and objectives of our clients

● Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen

● Identify and determine practice areas for improvement, propose and implement strategies

● Revamp processes and working procedures to maximize operational efficiency while ensuring high quality services and support to clients

● Be responsible in the overall financial management of client accounts

● Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and build a range of meaningful recommendations

● Lead in the management and delivery of internal and external projects

● Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients

● Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties

● Simplify complex messages, using data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making

● Review team’s work of individual income tax returns prior to submission and other employer forms and deliverables.

● Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.


Requirement

● The ideal candidate possesses a tertiary qualification in any discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience.

● Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in utilizing technical skills in individual tax compliance, tax planning and expatriate tax program policy and administration design; identifying and addressing client needs, building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.

● Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

● Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships, and making introductions to market new services.

● Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to:

● Innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions;

● Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients;

● Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.

● Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools, to provide a point of view on pricing strategies.
