OVERVIEW

This position will report to the General Manager, Tender Centre, and is part of the Regional Tender Centre Team. He/SheThe role is responsible to lead in the tender process and work in close collaboration with other tender management teams and account owners within SAO region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive tender business growth, profitability, and sustainability in the SAO region.
  • Lead the end-to-end tender process, including RFI, RFQ, RFP, e-Auctions, and spot quotes.
  • Prepare high-quality, competitive proposals in collaboration with account owners, tender management teams, and support functions.
  • Develop and execute bid strategies and tender frameworks in coordination with key stakeholders to enhance success rates.
  • Analyze customer tenders to align pricing, solutions, and requirements effectively.
  • Work closely with Air/Ocean cargo divisions for rate negotiation and review.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data profiling and records maintenance on platforms like TM Analytics and SharePoint.
  • Conduct post-mortem analyses on tenders for continuous improvement and management review.
  • Maintain pricing knowledge and collaborate with internal teams to optimize tender processes, reduce costs, and improve win ratios.
  • Support the transition to the Implementation team post-award and assist with SOP setup, focusing on rate aspects.
  • Provide commercial and technical inputs for tender submissions.
  • Participate in internal/external meetings to align on tender management goals.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the Tender Centre’s efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
