DESCRIPTION
  • Bid preparation and project execution for floating offshore ammonia and hydrogen production projects, FAPSO & OSS.
  • Assist in mechanical engineering support to ensure mechanical process equipment is designed, installed, operated and maintained to achieve maximum life of the equipment.
  • Undertake FAPSO topside Mechanical engineering design to comply with the client’s requirements.
  • Participate in vendor development for auxiliary distribution, telecom, high voltage equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Support senior engineers and project managers in delivering sound engineering solutions.
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and equipment, ensuring adherence to project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to conduct technical analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
  • Ensure that technical compliance with all design requirements.
  • Use engineering software for modelling and analysis.
  • Produce technical documents, reports and presentations detailing the findings of investigations under the guidance of Project Engineer or Engineering Manager.
  • Coordinate with Engineering Contractor, Shipyard and Supplier Electrical discipline team to review the deliverables.
  • Field engineering support during construction phase of the project.
  • Commissioning and start-up support.
  • Achieve safety standards as defined in project requirements
  • Assist in preparation for bid submission to client, with compliant technical documentation.
  • Assist in preparation for request for quotations, and evaluation of bids submitted by Suppliers.
  • Attend technical meetings, and minutes down the meeting, if required.
  • Keep track of relevant discipline tasks.
  • Comply with environmental impact assessment and safety-related design requirements.
  • Documentation in accordance with Company’s quality management system.
  • Responsible for personal safety, safe working practices, and understand and follow HSE procedures.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Management.

Comply with HSE requirements:

  • Environmental Aspects & Impacts Assessment.
  • OHS Hazardous & Risk Assessment.
  • Follow HSE Regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor or Master of Engineering Degree (Mechanical or related disciplines).
  • 0 – 2 years’ experience. Knowledge or experience in maritime and offshore services will be advantageous.
  • Aptitude and attitude to learn and experience marine engineering requirements, software tools, and other technical issues.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
  • Previous use of AutoCAD or other 2D / 3D software will be advantageous.
