Game Mathematician (Mobile Game)

• Full time/Permanent
• Monday to Friday, 10am to 7pm / 930am to 630pm

We are currently looking for a motivated and skilled Game Mathematician.

Job Description:

We are keen to hire an experienced Game Mathematician, where your analytical and mathematical skills will shape game design, balance gameplay, and elevate player experiences.

Collaborate with our game designers, artists and developers to iterate & fine-tune game systems, and analyze player behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Game Balancing: Create and refine mathematical models to ensure engaging and fair gameplay for players of all skill levels.
• Data Analysis: Use analytics tools to interpret gameplay metrics and player feedback, guiding design adjustments.
• Model Development: Build and validate models representing core game mechanics, supporting design processes.
• Collaboration: Work alongside artists, designers and developers to transform mathematical concepts into actionable game mechanics and systems.
• Constant Testing and Iteration: Engage in playtesting to evaluate balance and suggest improvements based on data and player insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Possess more than 3 years of experience in the mobile gaming industry focused on game balancing, or quantitative/data analysis.
• Strong grasp of game mechanics, player psychology, and design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a systematic approach.
• Strong communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for all audiences.
