Position Description:

As a Junior Quant (Treasury & Risk), you will support our treasury and risk teams by maintaining and analyzing key financial data. You will work closely with treasury, finance, product and engineering teams to help manage risk reporting and ensure the accuracy of our treasury data pipelines. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analytics, risk management, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Assist in ensuring that key financial data is collected, cleaned, and available for risk management in our data warehouse.
  • Support the development of reports to monitor risks associated with our investment products.
  • Work with treasury and finance teams to track key performance and risk metrics.
  • Help automate and build data pipelines required for treasury and risk reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining the treasury and risk data infrastructure using SQL and data modeling tools.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly risk reports for senior management.
  • Reconcile assets and liabilities to ensure accuracy in our hedging processes.
  • Analyze treasury data to find improvements in operations.
  • Simulate the impact of treasury decisions to assist in risk assessment.
  • Monitor data processes and provide support to stakeholders for decision-making.
  • Communicate findings effectively with team members and stakeholders.
What You Need to Be Successful in This Role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in data analytics, finance, or risk management (internships or projects are a plus).
  • Strong SQL skills to extract and analyze data from databases.
  • Basic knowledge of financial concepts or an interest in finance, risk management, or cryptocurrency.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies in financial data.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Data Studio) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Interest in the investment, financial sector, or web3/cryptocurrency is a plus.
