Lift Maintenance Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilites:

  • Lead and manage a team of lift technicians to ensure the efficient and safe operation of lifts within the Town Council's jurisdiction.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance, to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Attend to lift breakdowns promptly, troubleshoot equipment faults, and implement preventive and corrective actions to restore functionality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of lifts to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise contractors as needed to carry out upgrade or improvement works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex lift-related issues and inquiries from residents and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inspections, and service reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders to address lift-related concerns and implement improvements to enhance overall service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Engineering equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in engineering industry
  • Good organizational, reporting and supervisory skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently
  • 5.25 work week, half day on alternate Saturday
  • Mandarin speaking
