As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with a broad range of high-level technical experience, you will work closely with the team to design various structure especially underground MRT stations and tunnels.


On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing a variety of geotechnical designs for ERSS, geotechnical and civil engineering projects, liaising with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Detailed geotechnical design and analysis.
  • Ensuring that design, assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with the current Standards, Codes of Practice and Best Practice.
  • Review/checking/approval of designs, assessments and calculations in accordance with quality procedures.
  • Preparation of risk assessments and full compliance with DfS.
  • Coordination of work undertaken by external sub-contractors and design checkers and Client management.

Furthermore, you shall have:

  • Have experience of working in a design environment in Singapore
  • Have experience in designing of underground MRT station
  • Sound understanding of DfS Regulations, specifically the designer's requirements and the risk assessment process
  • Ability to manage own time
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage small projects
  • Ability to interface with other disciplines
