We are looking for an amazing Senior Engineering Manager to support our growth


We are looking for a passionate analytical, detail-oriented, high leadership Senior Engineering Manager who will lead the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art pricing and execution engine.


To succeed as a Senior Engineering Manager, you should be coming along with experiences in developing high-frequency, low-latency trading systems and a proven track record in managing dynamic engineering teams within the trading system domain.


In short, what you will do

  • Lead the development and deployment of a high-frequency, low-latency pricing and execution engine, ensuring it meets the specific requirements of robustness, performance, and scalability.
  • Guide, mentor, and manage a team of engineers (10+ staff) specializing in low-latency trading technologies. Members are located in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define and refine project specifications and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives in the trading sector.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability and security of the trading platform.
  • Oversee performance metrics and system optimization to ensure the trading engine operates at peak efficiency.
  • Stay at the forefront of advancements in trading technology and propose integration of cutting-edge tools and practices.
  • Manage timelines, resources, and risk assessments associated with the project, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
  • Ensuring the security of data transmission and system access to protect sensitive financial information and comply with regulatory requirements.

What you need to bring along

  • Bachelor’s qualification Computer Science, Engineering, or related professional of at least 5 - 8 years standing with software development leadership, particularly in building high-frequency, low-latency systems for financial markets.
  • Prior experience in the FX and CFD sector is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of network configurations, data transmission, and latency optimization is crucial for the development and maintenance of a low-latency trading system.
  • Understanding how distributed systems operate, including handling synchronization, data consistency, and fault tolerance, which are essential for maintaining the stability and scalability of trading platforms.
  • Deep understanding of trading algorithms, data structures, and real-time systems architecture.
  • Proven capability in leading technology teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and proficiency in performance tuning and scalability engineering.
  • Knowledge of C++, C#, Go or other performance-critical programming languages.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills with the ability to solve the problems creatively and effectively
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and multi-cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-pace agile team
  • Ability to speak Mandarin and English fluently in order to communicate with global colleagues and stakeholders
