Calypso Developer

We are looking for an experienced Calypso Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our Calypso package and internal components, managing incidents and requests, supporting change management, and ensuring continuous improvement of our processes and systems. This role requires strong expertise in Java, PL/SQL, Linux, and in-depth knowledge of Calypso Back office functionality.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years as a Calypso developer.
Technical Skills:Proficiency in Java, PL/SQL, and Linux.
Experience with Calypso versions higher than v13.
Expertise in Calypso Back office functionality and customization of different modules: Custom Remote Services, Engines, Events, Filters, Reporting Framework, ScheduledTask, Message/Swift messages, Transfers, Settlement Delivery Instructions, Accounting, Pricers, Workflows, Reconciliation functionalities.
In-depth knowledge of Confirmations, Settlement, Position, and Accounting modules.
Understanding of financial assets (repos, bonds, SLB, issuances) and trade lifecycle.
Experience with regulatory reporting (HRF, NORIA, MMSR).
Experience interfacing Calypso with external systems.
Implementation project experience.
Experience in AGILE methodology.
Familiarity with tools such as GIT, MasterDeploy, SVN, JENKINS, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
Database knowledge: Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB.
Experience in implementing NR scenarios and developing microservices.
Curiosity for new technologies.
Willingness to provide L3 support if required.
