Genius Group is a global Edtech and education company with over 4.3 million students in over 200 countries. We are developing a future focused, entrepreneur education system that spans from early learning, primary and secondary school, through to university, adult education and corporate training. The company is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and has offices around the world.


GeniusU is a subsidiary of Genius Group and is seeking a dynamic and results-driven PR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will take the lead in strengthening Genius Group’s presence in the Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and education industries.


This includes fostering relationships with potential partners and influencers, organizing impactful events, managing media relations and securing media coverage to amplify our brand. This candidate will also craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audiences. Your expertise will help position our company as a thought leader in the blockchain and Bitcoin space.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Outreach:

  1. Identify, connect, and collaborate with potential partners and influencers within the education and Bitcoin industries.
  2. Build and maintain relationships that align with Genius Group’s mission and objectives.

Event Management:

  1. Organize and oversee events, conferences, and networking opportunities to elevate our brand in the Bitcoin and education communities.
  2. Ensure all events align with Genius Group’s vision and deliver measurable outcomes.

Media Relations:

  1. Develop and execute strategies for securing interviews, podcasts, and media appearances for key representatives of Genius Group.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage press communications effectively.
  3. Proactively pitch stories, arrange interviews, and secure media coverage across print, digital, and broadcast channels.

Content Development:

  1. Collaborate with internal teams to produce press releases, media kits, and other public relations materials.
  2. Ensure all communications reflect Genius Group’s voice and position as a leader in EdTech and innovation.

Brand Advocacy:

  1. Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
  2. Monitor trends and emerging opportunities in Bitcoin and education to position Genius Group as a thought leader in these sectors.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Min 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within the education, tech, or cryptocurrency industries.
  3. Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  4. Strong organizational abilities with a focus on event management and media coordination.
  5. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  6. A passion for innovation, education, and the transformative potential of technology.
  7. Familiarity with tools like PR databases (e.g., Cision), social media management platforms, and analytics tools.
  8. Established media relationships within the cryptocurrency and tech sectors are highly desirable.
