We are seeking a SAP Technical Consultant to design and oversee the implementation and migration of SAP systems in the government sector

You will play a pivotal role to oversee and manage the IT technical aspects to support the development and implementation activities for SAP projects (SAP Financial). You will work closely with Product Owners, vendors/development teams, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, new system implementation and foster a collaborative environment.

What you will be working on:

  • Working with various stakeholders and lead in the planning and technical evaluation for SAP implementation and migration, considering factors like scalability, performance, maintainability, and cost. Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements (eg IM8).
  • Working with various stakeholders in tender preparation and evaluation
  • Develop and enhance IT Architecture, ensuring it aligns with best practices and the project's requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, product owners, and vendors, keeping them informed of technical progress and challenges.
  • Project planning and execution, providing realistic assessments of technical effort and timelines. Ensure the quality of the delivered software through testing and adherence to quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project

What we are looking for:

  • 5-10 years of experience in SAP system architecture, Implementation and support experience or other SAP related lead roles
  • Knowledge and hands on experience of SAP Technologies is a must (eg. SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP HANA, SAP SAC, RAP/CAP Framework)
  • Experience in data/system migration of SAP System (eg SAP migration strategy S/4 HANA, SAP Activate for S/4 HANA, SAP DMC, SAP DS, SDI)
  • Experience with data cleansing, data transformation and data Integrating SAP with other systems and usage of SAP Tools like SAP Integration Suite, SAP DS, SAP HANA Replication experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Government Commercial Cloud) is a plus.
