Roles & Responsibilities

Working Location:

  • 22 Benoi Sector, 3rd Floor, Admin Office Building, Singapore 629854.

Scope of work:

  • Laboratory evaluation in water-based decorative paints and industrial coating systems.
  • Performance study and benchmark for thickeners, rheology modifiers, surfactants and defoamers.
  • Competition additive analysis, market understanding, and discovery for new product values.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support technical service in root cause analysis and evaluation for performance benchmark.
  • Design experiment and testing parameters based on sales requests and project objectives.
  • Prepare experimental prototypes, conduct a series of lab testing, and interpret test results.
  • Troubleshooting for performance gaps to market competition and propose the right solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Generate laboratory results to prepare technical reports and launch packages to support new product launch, service to marketing for growth and promotional materials for sales team.
  • Ensure all laboratory works are carried out safely and efficiently with compliance to company EHS standard and take initiative to maintain high standard of laboratory cleanliness.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in chemical industry or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of paint and coating experience or related industries in wet lab operation.
  • Comfortable to work alone in laboratory environment.
