Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible in processing of all deliveries projects and related request (DR).
  • Expediting all documents direct/indirect related to outgoing deliveries Delivery orders (DO), Performa Invoice, Packing List, Marking and etc. for outgoing shipments. Sub-Service (SS), Declaration from projects and direct & indirect related request.
  • Co-ordinating with secondary services, suppliers/freight forwarder/transporters and internal customers on transportation & shipment schedule and deliveries to ensure timely logistic arrangement and smooth shipment transactions.
  • Co-ordinating with Procurement Dept. to expedite all incoming deliveries with permit providers, Freight forwarders and transporters followed by updating data in the system.
  • Ensure Import and export documentations are prepared correctly for customs formalitties.
  • Co-ordinating with warehouse personnel on goods packing, crating, storage space, stuffing and unstuffing and delivery arrangements.
  • Co-ordinating with Finance and Procurement depts. relating to payment and GST matters.
  • Assist in promoting periodic cost review and reduction program with releavnt parties.
  • Ensure customer delivery requirements and KPI are met.
  • Arranging goods collection & transferal between regional offices.
  • Review of daily operations, procedures and plans to ensure continual improvement of process flows, productivities and operations efficiency.
  • Any other tasks assigned by immediate Supervisor/superior.


Requirements:

  • GCE “O” level and above or Professional Certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 year working experience.
  • Good knowledge in import and export practices, permit, tax and legal requirements.
  • Well verse in Freight Forwarding (sea and air) practices and incoterms in local and regional markets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and hands-on, positive work attitude.
  • Exposure of managing and control import and export cost including treatment and related secondary services.
  • Able to handle General Administration.
  • Knowledge of computer software application. E.g. word, excel.
