We are in search of a dedicated Finance Executive to join our team and oversee the critical functions of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP). Job Description:

As the Finance Maestro in eGENTIC APAC, you will be the key player responsible for orchestrating the financial operations and strategies within our organization. We are seeking a meticulous individual with a proven track record in managing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions to ensure the financial health and compliance of the company.


What We're Looking For:


Account Receivables Function

  • Manage day-to-day AR operations including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Generating billing invoices and ensuring accuracy in invoicing based on sales reports.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments receivable are accounted for and properly Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues are attended promptly and communication is handled professionally.
  • Retrieve invoices and/or any related documents on request and send them to customers.
  • Managing and monitoring the Aging AR receivable to work closely with the Sales team for the invoicing process and other data needed.
  • Facilitate swift payment of invoices due to the organization by sending bill reminders and contacting clients with outstanding accounts.
  • Ensure the Sales activity of each BU tallies with the invoices every month and analyze the discrepancies with related Sales Team
  • Monthly bank reconciliation and managing cash inflow for AR receivables & DSO AR Aging

Account Payable Function

  • Handle day-to-day AP, GL operations and other accounting functions.
  • Handles accounts payable process and ensures proper verifications and approvals.
  • Attend to suppliers’ queries and ensure timely and effective resolutions.
  • Enter payment details of the Vendors/Suppliers in the Bank for payment process.
  • Payment mode via TT/Giro/Account Transfer/Cheque.
  • Update payment details in the Zoho books once approval is made.
  • Managing and following up on open invoices with the marketing team for payment process approval.
  • Verify cost accrual is done based on the actual cost spent with the marketing team.
  • Process checking and payment for expense reports & credit card reconciliation.
  • Managing cash outflow for AP payments and estimation.
  • Filing of suppliers’ invoices, payment vouchers and documents and other data entry admin duties as required.

General Responsibilities

  • To assist with the reporting analysis and system when needed.
  • To provide support on taxation and audit process to ensure compliance and other ad-hoc admin/ finance functions as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Accountancy.
  • Minimum 2 years of full set of accounting (AR/AP/GL) and min 3 years of AR function and 2 years of AP experience.
  • Knowledge of Zoho Books/Netsuite/Quickbooks or other ERP operations will be an added advantage.
  • Strong fundamental accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Office particularly in Excel.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, multi-task and able to respond well under pressure.
  • Strong problem identification with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to deliver timely and accurate results with good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Highly motivated, fast learner with a positive working attitude and pleasant personality.
  • Able to start work immediately.
