Position: Senior ACI Network Project Engineer

Job Description:

As a Senior ACI Network Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing onsite client support, troubleshooting, and designing, configuring, and managing escalated problems. You will serve as a key member of project teams, responsible for analyzing client and technical requirements, developing specifications, designing solutions, and providing expert insights into testing and deployment processes. Additionally, you will act as the primary point of contact for client projects, managing vendor relationships to ensure successful project deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite client support, including troubleshooting and problem management.
  • Lead project teams in analyzing client and technical requirements.
  • Design and develop solutions based on deep knowledge of specific technologies.
  • Interface with vendors to manage project deployment effectively.
  • Design and build complex LAN and WAN infrastructures.
  • Implement routing/switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, etc.
  • Design and deploy complex data center networks using Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or OpenFlow protocols.
  • Configure and manage LAN switches from Cisco, Huawei, and other vendors.
  • Architect complex campus networks with Software Defined Access (SDA) solutions.
  • Automate network processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby) and tools like Ansible, Algosec, or Chef.
  • Implement network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SSL.
  • Utilize Servicenow and Solarwinds tools for network operations management.
  • Participate in rotational standby duties.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of professional technical experience in software development, systems design, deployment, or networking within a large-scale MNC technology services environment.
  • Proficiency in designing and building complex LAN and WAN infrastructures.
  • Expertise in routing/switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, etc.
  • Experience with SDN solutions like Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or OpenFlow protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with LAN switches from Cisco, Huawei, and other vendors.
  • Familiarity with SDA solutions from Cisco or other vendors.
  • Proficiency in network automation using scripting languages or automation tools.
  • Experience in network security and content networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with Servicenow and Solarwinds tools for network management.
  • Willingness to participate in rotational standby duties.
