Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as IT Applications Manager.



Job Responsibilities:


The IT Application Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications within the group. This corporate role focuses on managing application lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business requirements, and optimizing the utilization of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency and guest experiences.

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of software applications within the hotel, from requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, define application requirements, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure applications are developed, tested, and implemented according to industry best practices and quality standards.
  • Oversee the design, development, and customization of applications to meet the specific needs of the hotel.
  • Coordinate with external development teams to ensure timely delivery of application enhancements, bug fixes, and new features.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance processes to ensure application reliability, usability, and performance.
  • Oversee the integration of various software applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across systems.
  • Collaborate with different departments to identify integration requirements and streamline business processes.
  • Manage interfaces with third-party systems, such as property management systems (Opera) and point of sale (Infrasys POS) systems, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Configure application settings and parameters to align with business requirements and optimize performance.
  • Provide user support and training for software applications, ensuring effective utilization and user satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve application-related issues promptly, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
  • Implement and enforce application security measures, ensuring protection of sensitive data and adherence to industry regulations.
  • Work with Cybersecurity team to monitor and mitigate application vulnerabilities. Ensure application perform regular security assessments and keep patches updated.
  • Stay updated with emerging security threats and recommend measures to enhance application security.
  • Assist Applications Lead to manage Opera Cloud, Infrasys POS Cloud, and other corporate/hotel applications.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to align application strategies with overall technology initiatives.


The Person:

  • Degree / Diploma in Business Computing / Computer Science / Information Technology
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in application management
  • Solid understanding of application security principles, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with application integration techniques, APIs, and data exchange protocols.
