Job Description: We seek a Senior Laboratory Production Process Engineer to oversee and enhance our lab-based production processes at Ventas Bio. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, particularly with GMP and ISO 13485 standards. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with extensive experience in laboratory production within the medical technology sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and optimize lab-based production processes, ensuring adherence to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Perform regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Spearhead process qualification (PQ) and validation, maintaining rigorous compliance with GMP and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to integrate new technologies and processes into production.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
  • Ensure documentation and record-keeping align with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Facilitate a collaborative and inclusive work environment, effectively leading and mentoring a diverse team.
  • Proactively identify and address potential production challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate best practices into our laboratory processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in laboratory production, particularly in the medical technology industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with GMP and ISO 13485 compliance.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively across various departments.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
