Roles & Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Teach assigned group classes on weekends including covering for other teachers (hours ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 hours per day)
  • Co-create and develop customised content according to needs of students with diverse profiles and needs
  • Deliver tailored lessons according to the MOE syllabus and curriculum
  • Encourage students and create a safe and positive environment for learning
  • Track attendance, progress and development of students
  • Maintain communication with parents on lessons, student conduct and progress regularly
  • Between $50 - $60 per hourly rate


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passion to teach children including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Minimally 2 years’ experience teaching (in MOE schools or private tuition centres included), experience working with children with SEN preferred
  • Degree in any discipline – those with Postgraduate Diploma in Education or other relevant qualifications will have an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills with good command of verbal and written English
  • Ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team
