Reporting to the FM, this role includes but not limited to:

1) Management reporting:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, driving monthly business reviews with the commercial team, measure actual performance results against forecast.
  • Provide variance analysis and meaningful insights for the management decision making.
  • Design, develop and streamline all internal reports.
  • Responsible for board deck presentation.

2) Financial planning:

  • Develop annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads and management.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide explanations and corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement financial controls to manage budget adherence and optimize financial performance.
  • Prepare financial model and scenarios to support strategic decision making and business planning process
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying trends and variances and providing explanation.

3) Business partnering and collaboration:

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to management and department heads, contributing to the development of business plans and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial performance against strategic objectives and benchmarks, recommending improvements or adjustments as necessary and commercial contracts review.
  • Support fundraising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, financial due diligence.

4) Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Implement best practices and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance/Accountancy. CFA/CPA will be a plus
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and excel
  • At least 4 years in FP&A role
  • Experience in M&A
  • Independent and resourceful to fit into dynamic startup environment
  • Strong team worker
  • Prior experience in process improvement and setting up dashboards and template for reporting
  • Keen eye for detail and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Experience working with ERP system
  • Excellent analytical and problem soling skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to start immediately or on a short notice would be an advantage
