We are looking for a Director for the fast-growing China market. You will be responsible for overseeing and growing a team and you will be measured by your team's overall revenue attainment, new logo acquisition, and expansion into existing customer accounts. The impact you will have:

  • Drive Revenue Success: Own and exceed your teams quarterly/annual sales targets
  • Build and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and execute evolving revenue plans and growth tactics
  • Create Trust-Based Relationships: develop long term customer, partner, and cross-functional relationships
  • Distill Customer Needs and Value: Enable your team to understand commercial goals of your customer and how they relate to our value proposition
  • Manage the Front-Line Voice of Databricks: Lead your team to effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations

What we look for:

  • Experienced (5+ years) high-growth SaaS leader with experience leading a sales team to new heights.
  • Experience selling to Enterprise Customers in Mainland China
  • Experience translating a highly technical product to business value for the CSuite. Experience in big data, selling against open source or freemium a plus.
  • Track record of success executing against personal and team goals while always striving to uplevel your process
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve personal objectives with a team first mindset
  • Ability to coach and develop sales fundamentals to Account Executives including and not limited to prospecting, forecasting, and negotiation tactics
  • Ability to lead and coach a team of Account Executives executing in both Enterprise and Commercial markets
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as experience presenting to the C Suite.
