Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk/Operations Administrator to join our team. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining data in our systems, ensuring data integrity, and supporting various departments with administrative tasks. If you have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and enjoy working with data, we encourage you to apply for this part-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Input data from various sources into databases, spreadsheets, and other digital platforms.
Verify and review data for accuracy and completeness, making necessary corrections.
Ensure data entry is conducted efficiently and in compliance with company procedures. - Data Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain existing data records to reflect changes, additions, or deletions.
Perform routine data cleaning and quality assurance checks.
Assist in data archiving and backup procedures to prevent data loss. - Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records and files.
Retrieve data as needed and respond to data retrieval requests from other departments.
Assist with data retrieval and reporting for audits or inquiries. - Data Analysis: Provide basic data analysis and reporting support to various departments.
Assist in generating reports and summaries from the data collected. - Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
Collaborate with other departments to support their data-related needs.
Assist in organizing and managing departmental records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary diploma or equivalent (Students welcome to apply). Additional education in data entry or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Basic knowledge of data processing and database systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and a strong team player.
Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, and part-timers have to commit at least 3 days a week, 4-5 hours a day, and at least 3 months. Please state your availability in your resume or application.
Please note that priority is given to applicants who are able to commit the most (i.e. Mon-Fri, 9AM-6PM). If you would like to learn more about full-time, permanent position options, feel free to apply as well.
Hourly Rate:
$10/Hour (Excluding Break)
