Roles & Responsibilities

Job description

· At least 4 years of experience in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase and FDMEE applications.

· Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes

· Proficient in Windows and Unix operating Systems

· Experience with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Queries

· Experience with writing Shell and batch scripts to automated processes

· Provide support and troubleshooting for Hyperion and Essbase-related issues and Perform system upgrades and patches as necessary.

· Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial applications

· Works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant in the development of technical solutions of moderate complexity within consulting practice area.

· Ability to understand emerging business requirements and align the Hyperion roadmap with the business goals.

· Ability to deliver proof of concept for solutions benefiting the close process.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Essential Skills:

· Proven track record of at least 2 end-to-end implementations.

· Proven track record of at least 2 end-to-end implementations.

· Development experience in Hyperion, specifically in EPMA, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase, FDMEE and SmartView.

· Create and maintain EPMA hierarchies, write or modify basic calc scripts or business rules, execute processes such as deploying data and updating variables, assign security roles, create/modify web forms.

· Good knowledge of Excel VBA.

· Experience with Data Integration concepts between source Systems and target Essbase applications. Expertise in gathering, understanding incident background, mapping, and recreating incidents, and translating root cause into a workable solution.

· Perform all month-end /year-end close processes needed in the system to report timely and accurate financial statements, forecasts and budgets.
