Roles & Responsibilities

LASER WELDER

We are looking for a Laser Welding Technician who is responsible and willing to learn. Locals (Singaporean), Work Permit Holders are eligible to apply. All genders and age groups (Min. eligible working age) are welcome.


Job Description:

  • Operate laser welding machine to perform welding tasks
  • Operate machine to control weld direction and power level
  • Prior knowledge on welding techniques will be preferred (Knowledge on any form of welding is applicable. I.e TIG, MIG, Laser weld etc)
  • On the job training will be provided

Job Responsibility:

  • Understand how the machine works, in order to select the correct functions for each task
  • Understand the basics of welding, so as to facilitate ease of operation
  • Possess basic mechanical skills (I.e Operate small cutting tools, hand grinder etc), as some preparation work on the metal parts has to be done
  • Monitor and basic cleaning of the machine as required, to make sure machine can operate daily
  • Responsible to check and ensure output is of the required standard before it is delivered to customer
  • Able to meet timelines as scheduled by supervisor
  • Be flexible to switch between machines as required
  • Able to read and interpret basic technical drawings

Qualifications:

  • No prior experience is needed, on the job training will be provided
  • Having basic technical knowledge and being comfortable around industrial machinery will be a plus point

Workplace:

  • We are a small workshop specializing in metal works and welding.
  • Small group of responsible workers, no politics and open-minded culture.


Other Related Information:

  • Working hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm, Sat 8.30am to 12.30pm)
  • OT pay will be provided if work hours exceed normal contracted time
  • We are located at Tampines St 93, Blk 9010 (Nearest MRT Tampines West, Downtown line)
