Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage the Flat Glass Business in the Asia Pacific region and other regions
  • Develop and implement sales strategies in target markets and lead department heads in executing them
  • Give direction and set specific objective to be achieved.
  • Plan and execute capacity allocation of products in the Asia Pacific region in collaboration with suppliers.
  • Establish differentiation of business by products, sales & marketing and services (especially for value added products) to cater to specific market needs.
  • Monitor and analyse SEA trends, improvise strategies to ensure targets are met.
  • Formulate and implement business activities (eg. Sales, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, People Management) in the Asia Pacific region and other regions based on Headquarters’ business direction.
  • Lead and monitor the team across various locations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Prepare monthly management reports for Japan Headquarters
  • Establish annual budgets and monitor income and expenses
  • Negotiate price and volume with suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure that the above activities and systems comply with Japan Headquarters’ requirements
