What You’ll Do
  • Apply cloud computing skills (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy upgrades, fixes, and conduct system level vulnerability security scans.
  • Implement continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes and tools to enable the agile team to deliver quality software based on user feedback.
  • Collaborate with the application team, cloud team, and application vendor for application migration or implementation in GCC.
  • Provide DevSecOps BAU support for applications and work with third-party software and cloud vendors to manage and resolve incidents and technical issues.
  • Develop scripts to automate the build, software release, application deployment, and management of system and application.
  • Support the creation, maintenance and execution of Terraform Infrastructure as Code for applications as well as common services managed by the Application and Architecture Engineering Team.
  • Harden system and application platforms. Collaborate with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
What Will Make You Shine
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering with a cloud. A proven track record in Linux/Windows systems administration.
  • Understanding how to configure DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Nexus IQ.
  • Knowledge of Container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, Quay.
  • Understanding of AWS Cloud services configuration such as EC2, Network Load Balancer, Application Load Balancer, Web Application Firewall, Security Group, RDS, S3, Lambda.
  • Proven experience with virtualisation/container technology and setting up continuous integration/continuous deployment processes and tools.
  • Understanding of application development and setting up middleware.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and services, e.g., SFTP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining databases will be an added advantage.
