The Assistant Manager will work collaboratively to superviseand guide a team of Senior/Executives to support the HR operationsrelating to recruitment of corporate staff, data management andconfirmation of appointments. The individual is expected to ensurethe delivery of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and be involved inprocess improvement projects.

Recruitment of CorporateStaff
  • Supervise the daily recruitmentoperation for hiring of corporate staff
  • Managerecruitment process for assigned Colleges/Schools/Department/Research Institute/ Department
  • Ensure smoothprocess on contract management
  • Identify areasfor improvements for recruitment processefficiency
  • Responsible for data accuracy byteam members, which includes new hire entries, one-time payment,assigning costing allocations etc.
  • Oversee theprocessing of confirmation or extension of probation for corporatestaff within theUniversity


OperationalExcellence
  • Strive to meetSLA established for the team, ensuring that customer needs andexpectations are met (within resourceconstraints)
  • Work with HR Lead (Research andManagement & Support) to contribute ideas and feedback instreamlining HR processes on areas of process improvements andstandardisation


Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in BusinessAdministration, or a related discipline ie. HumanResources
  • Preferably minimum 4 years ofrelevant experience in an HR environment with supervisoryskills
  • Good knowledge of the Employment Act andLabour laws of Singapore
  • Comfortable tohandle/review high volume oftransactions
  • Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills
  • Strong organizational,time management skills
  • Proficient in MicrosoftOffice applications
  • Working knowledge withWorkday is advantageous
