Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope:

To ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment within the medical centre, adhering to infection control standards and supporting the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:


•Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, consultation rooms, treatment areas, laboratories, waiting areas, restrooms, staff offices, and common areas.


•Follow established cleaning protocols and infection control procedures, particularly in high-risk areas.


•Disinfect surfaces, equipment, and frequently touched points to maintain hygiene standards.


•Dispose of medical and general waste according to clinic policies and safety regulations.


•Replenish cleaning supplies, hand sanitizers, and consumables (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper) as needed.


•Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.


•Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor mopping, vacuum cleaners) safely and correctly.


•Support special cleaning duties as required, including deep cleaning or terminal cleaning after patient discharge.


•Ensure cleaning records and checklists are completed accurately and on time.


•Wear appropriate PPE and adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Requirements:


•Previous experience in a healthcare or similar environment is an advantage.


•Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.


•Understanding of infection control and hygiene standards.


•Ability to work independently and follow instructions.


•Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.


•High level of integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.

Working Hours:

Mondays - Fridays : 7.00am. - 11.00am.

Saturdays : 7.00am - 12.00pm.
