E-Commerce's Governance and Experienceis a global team responsible for ensuring a safe and trustworthymarketplace not only for our buyers but also for our sellers andcreators. We constantly work on areas such as risk detectionabilities, fairness and sustainability of the E-Commerce ecosystem,content and commodity quality, and friction-free experiences todriveimprovement.

Responsibilities:

-Develop efficient, highly scalable, and secured services tobuild/integrate e-Commerce solutions for TikTokShop.

- Develop backend systems and services forinfo-security, compliance, anti-fraud, business governance,customer service, etc.

- Implement best-in-classreal-time computing, high concurrency, and high scalabilityengineering practices across all product engineeringdisciplines.

- Research, design, and developcomputer and network software or specialised utilityprograms.

- Analyse user needs and developsoftware solutions, applying principles and techniques of computerscience, engineering, and mathematicalanalysis.

- Update software, enhances existingsoftware capabilities, and develops and direct software testing andvalidationprocedures.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, Programming & System Analysis, Science (ComputerStudies) or related discipline.

- Candidateshould have at least 5 years of experience in developing highlyscalable backend services and systems using at least one of thefollowing programming languages: Java, Golang, orPython.

- Strong problem-solving skills andproficiency in software programming are essential, with a focus ongood code design and coding style.

- A deepunderstanding of data structures, algorithm design and analysis,networking, data security, and highly scalable systems design isexpected.

- Capable of providing elegant andefficient design solutions.

- In-depth knowledgeof common databases and messaging frameworks such as MySQL, Redis,Kafka, and MQ is required.
