Today, as we expand our presence worldwide, we seek a Regional Sales Manager who shares our passion for turning technical excellence into market-leading solutions.
Role Overview
Join us in a pivotal leadership position where you'll drive our growth strategy across designated territories. Working directly with our Commercial Director from our Singapore headquarters, you'll leverage your deep industry expertise to forge partnerships with Asia's leading brands, translating their challenges into breakthrough flavor solutions.
Please note that this is not an entry-level Sales Position - you are expected to possess significant relevant industry experience and network.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion VKA-AFF's technical innovation capabilities across the region through extensive market engagement, spending significant time (60-70%) travelling and building relationships with decision-makers and understanding their product development challenges
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans that align our pioneering formulation capabilities with customer needs, positioning VKA-AFF as the preferred innovation partner for category-defining products
- Lead complex commercial discussions that create lasting value, drawing on your technical understanding to bridge scientific innovation with market opportunities
- Build and mentor high-performing teams that embody our heritage of excellence while driving future growth
- Optimize territory coverage to maximize market impact and customer engagement across the region
Required Experience & Expertise
- Proven track record with 10+ years in B2B technical sales, specifically in food ingredients and flavors
- Demonstrated success in territory development through extensive regional travel and networking
- Established network within Asia's food and beverage manufacturing sector
- Deep understanding of food science combined with commercial acumen
- History of building innovation-driven partnerships with leading brands
- Experience leading and developing technical sales teams
- Strategic negotiation skills and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent English required; proficiency in additional languages advantageous
- Commitment to extensive regional travel (60-70%)
