Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled National Coach for Inline Freestyle to lead and develop the country's top athletes in disciplines for Classic slalom, speed slalom, and battle slide. The National Coach will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance training programs, scouting and developing talent, and preparing athletes for international competitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a structured high-performance training program tailored to national team athletes.
  • Conduct regular training sessions focusing on technical skills, physical conditioning, strategy, and competition readiness.
  • Scout and identify promising athletes for national team development.
  • Work closely with assistant coaches and specialists (e.g., strength and conditioning coaches, physiotherapists) to ensure holistic athlete development.
  • Analyze athlete performance using video review, data analysis, and competition results to refine training plans.
  • Lead and support athletes in national and international competitions, providing strategic coaching during events.
  • Ensure athlete safety and injury prevention through proper warm-ups, cool-downs, and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the National Sports Association (NSA) and relevant governing bodies to align training programs with national sports development plans.
  • Organize and oversee coaching clinics, workshops, and seminars to uplift the overall level of coaching in the country.
  • Stay updated on the latest coaching methodologies, competition rules, and trends in inline freestyle.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven track record as a coach or retired athelte in Inline Freestyle, with experience coaching at the national or elite level.
    Previous experience coaching athletes for international competitions (e.g., World Championships, Asian Championships, major open tournaments).
    Former high-level competitive skater in freestyle disciplines is an advantage.
  • Certification:Recognized coaching certifications in Inline freestyle or equivalent (preferred).
    First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
  • Skills & Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of technique and competitive strategies.
    Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills to guide athletes effectively.
    Ability to develop long-term athlete development plans and progression pathways.
    Familiarity with sports science principles, including strength training, recovery, and injury prevention.
    Strong analytical skills to assess performance and optimize training programs.
  • Other Requirements:Willingness to travel for competitions, training camps, and workshops.
    Passion for developing and promoting inline freestyle skating at a national level.
