Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary: The SAP PP/QM Lead will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, drive SAP best practices, and deliver solutions that optimize manufacturing and quality processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP PP/QM solutions.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Configure SAP PP and QM modules to align with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from blueprinting to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Provide expertise in integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and WM.
  • Drive continuous improvements and process optimization within the PP/QM landscape.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Conduct user training and create documentation to support knowledge transfer.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, and production units, to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations and recommend relevant upgrades or enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP PP/QM implementation and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience in configuring SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management).
  • Proven track record in leading SAP PP/QM projects, from design to deployment.
  • Expertise in SAP integration with MM, SD, and other relevant modules.
  • Experience with S/4HANA migration is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with cross-functional teams.
  • SAP Certification in PP/QM is an added advantage.
