Job Overview


The candidate will be responsible to oversee all aspects of the development and implementation of Manufacturing, Operations and Investment strategies in China. Reporting directly to the SVP Operations, he will also support the daily operations of manufacturing and operations as well as cost reduction, productivity and total quality management initiatives


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing & operating strategies
  • Establish production arrangements & manage supply chain management standard
  • Develop and implement key work processes
  • Use productivity and quality management tools and processes to make improvements
  • Participate in developing and improving strategic plans
  • Implement all aspects of Capital Expenditure
  • Coordinate and implement cost reduction, productivity and total quality management projects
  • Formulate local delivery network and international logistics and freight forwarding plan

Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering
  • Min 15 years of manufacturing operations experience
  • Prior plant management experience in China previously will be a big plus
  • Knowledge in automotive diesel engine or related
  • Experience in operations expansion, joint venture, and supplier management as well as project management
  • Willing to be based permanently in GuangXi YuLin, China
