AI PMO

We are looking for an AI PMO / Junior Project Manager on 6 month contract basis. There is a possibility of further extension depending on business needs.

Role Summary:

The AI Project Manager is a key figure in spearheading cutting-edge technology initiatives, particularly in overseeing and driving the successful execution of generative AI or AI projects. This role entails close collaboration with cross-functional teams, meticulous management of project timelines and budgets, and ensuring the efficient development and deployment of generative AI proof-of-concepts and pilots.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Craft customized project strategies and plans tailored specifically for AI initiatives.

• Ensure seamless coordination of project activities to uphold alignment with project goals and timelines.

• Foster collaboration among local and group business teams, data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to propel project success.

• Engage closely with business and data science teams to delineate project scope, requirements, and success criteria.

• Vigilantly monitor progress, pinpoint bottlenecks, and tackle challenges encountered during proof-of-concept and pilot development and implementation.

• Act as a conduit for communication between technical and business teams.

• Deliver regular updates to senior management regarding project status, risks, and achievements.

• Guarantee that project outcomes harmonize with organizational objectives.

• Uphold quality standards and ensure AI solutions deliver desired outcomes.

• Partner with deployment teams to facilitate the smooth transition of pilots into production.

• Document project processes, distill key insights, and capture best practices for future reference.

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred).

• 3+ years of project management experience, with a preference for exposure to AI or ML projects.

• Familiarity with AI and generative AI concepts is advantageous.

• Proficient in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence, and adaptable to various project delivery methodologies.

• Skillful in technical project management, guaranteeing the punctual and prosperous execution of IT endeavors.

• Capable of collaborative work with the Director of AI Solutions, IT Delivery Lead, IT Enablement teams, and business stakeholders.

• Possesses robust analytical abilities to comprehend and dissect intricate business requirements, transforming them into technical necessities.

• Demonstrates adept communication skills, fostering seamless collaboration between technical and business teams.
