Roles & Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT

The Maintenance Assistant Engineer is responsible for building maintenance (offices, toilets, lavatories, lifts, air cons) and projects installation & commissioning. Oversee all contractors (electrical, mechanical, civil) executing project works in factory.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain the mechanical and electrical integrity of new installations and existing systems.
  • Perform servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on equipment and system in the plant.
  • Conduct analysis and process improvement study. Highlight any follow-up actions are needed.
  • Assures product quality requirements are fulfilled in accordance with the Plant’s quality system and in compliance with corporate policies, customer, regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Working closely with Engineer to performance maintenance and overhaul of mechanical and electrical.
  • Responsible for maintaining documents and records. Provide support to ensure internal and external audit requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedure, GMP/ Food Safety, workplace safety, fire safety and health practices / requirements.
  • Strictly adhere to GMP / Food Safety/ Workplace Safety policies. Comply to the environmental operational control, food safety and workplace safety work instructions.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
  • Comply to the Environmental operational control work instructions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
  • Forklift and/or Scissor License preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • Complete pre-employment screening
  • Complete Food Safety training sponsored by company.
  • You will be required to carry heavy loads (5kg to 10kg) as part of their duties.
  • 12 hours monthly rotating schedule.
  • Overtime may be required.
