Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Objectives of Position

• Manage the operation and maintenance of the CSF (CBTC Simulation Facility) so as to ensure the safety, reliability and availability of the systems and meet the standards agreed with Operating Department

Major Responsibilities

• Be competent in the operation of the CSF for use by the relevant stakeholders for training, simulation and equipment testing purposes.
• Responsible for the maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance procedures and safety requirement
• Ensure major failures are responded to and rectified within reasonable time
• Evaluate fault data and remedial works performed related to maintenance work. Conduct investigations and fault analysis of faults and implement remedial actions. Assist in defect rectification
• Check the administration of the maintenance logistic(spares) required to ensure proper functioning of all maintenance activities
• Prepare maintenance and fault reports, data analysis reports to Executive in Charge
• Ensure proper housekeeping and security of Signalling maintenance offices, and equipment rooms in stations and depot
• Participate and support when audit by internal auditor and external auditor.
• Check that Work Instructions and Risk Management in the Signalling are review.
• Participate and assist in liaising with LTA in T &C of projects before, during and after handover

The above activities are no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever is needed

Specific Safety Responsibilities

• Ensure that any unsafe practices are reported and corrected accordingly

Job Specifications

Minimum Education / Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma, in ElectricalElectronic / Telecommunication / Computer/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Those without a diploma but with minimum years of relevant experience will be considered.

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience

• Preferably at least 2 – 3 years working experience in computer or networking or software engineering.
• Experience in the field of Railway Signalling and Computer Engineering is an advantage

Knowledge/Skills

• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Process network knowledge.
