Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Property Manager will assist in managing daily operations, tenant relations, and leasing activities of the property. They will ensure the property is well-maintained, fully leased, and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our properties are well-maintained and that our tenants are satisfied with their living and working environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the properties, including maintenance, repair, and upkeep.

• Assist in the leasing and marketing efforts of the property

• Respond to tenant inquiries, maintenance requests and complains in a timely and professional manner

• Assist in preparing leases and lease renewals

• Coordinate and oversee tenant move-in and move-out procedures

• Collect rent and other fees from tenants

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tenant and property information

• Perform regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance and safety issues

• Assist in developing and implementing property management policies and procedures

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure that work performed is of high quality and completed in a timely manner

• Ensure that the property is in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in business administration, real estate, or a related field

• 2-3 years of experience in property management, preferably in residential property management

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to property management
