Lift Maintenance Officer

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilites:

  • Oversee all aspects of lift maintenance operations, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of all lifts under Town Council.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for lift systems, including preventative maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs.
  • Manage a team of lift technicians and maintenance staff, providing leadership, training, and supervision to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of lift systems to identify potential issues or hazards, and take corrective action as necessary to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Attend to lift breakdowns, troubleshoot equipment faults, and implement preventive and corrective actions as needed.
  • Supervise contractors when required for upgrades or improvement projects.
  • Perform any additional duties related to lift maintenance and operations as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Engineering equivalent
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in engineering industry
  • Good organizational, reporting and supervisory skills are essential
  • Ability to work independently
  • 5.25 work week, half day on alternate Saturday
  • Mandarin speaking
