Requirements:
- Valid SNB Registered Nurse Practising Certificate
- Valid BCLS Certificate
- Must have minimum 2 years inpatient ward experience in a hospital setting
- Good knowledge of ECG, blood taking, giving injections, etc.
- Prior experience in health screening will be an advantage
Working Hours: 5.5 days a week, office hours
Job Description:
- Perform all clinical duties in the clinic:
- Assist doctor and registered nurse in procedure
- Venepuncture (possess valid certification)
- Clinical measurements
- Nebulise
- Perfomance or Assist in ECG
- Assist in Stress ECG (treadmill) (perform if credential)
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation: perform rescue ventilation with bag-valve-mask device and external cardiac massage
- Any other clinical procedures assigned
- Practises within own level of competence to promote safety of self and patients in accordance to SNB code of practise and core competencies coded in SNB
- Management of Patients medical reports
- Demonstrate proper use and care of equipment
- Any other responsibilities & tasks assigned by Clinic Supervisor / Operations Manage
- Maintain effective communications with patients and other members of the team to ensure that patient’s needs are met
- People management skills – Supervise and mentor less experienced staff
- Respect the values, customs, spiritual beliefs and practices of individuals and groups
- Manage and control drug inventory
- Supervise and instruct the nursing team in care and procedures
- Assist the doctor in performing treadmill stress test ECG
- Collect basic Bio-data (Height and Weight)
- Able to provide basic health education to patients
- Daily checking of the E trolley with attention to expiry dates and condition of drugs
- Orientation of new staff
- In charge of inventory of equipment, surgical store, linen and KIV stationery
- Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of the uptake/patient preparation room(s) and perform daily cleaning of the exposed surfaces of the equipment (especially areas in contact with the patient
- Be familiar with the guidelines set out in the Centre's Standard Operating Policies and Standard Operating Procedures and comply with them
- Understand the relevant service culture of the centre and values apply to staff
- Protect the confidentiality of all company proprietary information and patient records as per relevant confidentiality policy
- Perform any other additional duties as assigned by Nurse/Clinic/Operations Manager
