About the Role:
MongoDB Pre-Sales Solution Architects are responsible for guiding our customers and users in crafting and building reliable, scalable systems using our data platform. Our team consists of software architects, entrepreneurs, and developers who take direct responsibility for customer success, including software design, deployment, and operations.


In this role, you’ll work closely with our sales team and play a key part in winning deals and driving the business forward. You'll also serve as a trusted advisor to a wide range of users, from startups to some of the world’s largest enterprise IT organizations.


This role is based in Singapore, and travel can be expected up to 50% of the time.


To be successful in this role, proficiency in written and business conversational Thai is essential, as the role involves detailed collaboration and management of key business relationships of our clients and team members in Thailand.


As an ideal candidate, you will have:

  • 5+ years of professional experience, including a strong software development background
  • At least 2 years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software
  • Solid understanding and ability to code in one or more modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#)
  • Experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Thai to support and collboare with Thai-speaking customers and stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

As an ideal candidate, you may also have:

  • Experience selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Experience with database programming and data models
  • A MongoDB Certification
