Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Design, coordinate, and manage AWS infrastructure.
  • Automate deployments and manage infrastructure using code.
  • Troubleshoot and provide support for container technologies (EKS, ECS, ECR).
  • Oversee capacity management, and set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Demonstrate expertise in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting AWS and container technologies.
  • Proficient with operating systems including AWS Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Microsoft Windows.
  • Maintain, monitor, and resolve issues within cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with technical leads/managers to ensure support is delivered within agreed SLAs (24x7).
  • On-board new cloud technologies and critically evaluate existing implementations in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Adhere to ITSM/ITIL methodologies for daily IT infrastructure operations.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS operations and support.
  • AWS Certification in Solution Architect Associate or SysOps Administrator Associate required.
  • AWS Certification in Solution Architect Professional and Advanced Networking Specialty is a plus.
  • Experience in infrastructure engineering and automation.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, including network zoning, routing, resiliency, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with AWS RDS, application technology stacks, and containerization.
